In other news, the Washington Post is reporting that The Fairly Odd Parents on Nick is "the next SpongeBob." Film at 11 (no, I mean film at 9 pm on Fridays, 7:30 pm on Saturdays, Sat and Sun at 10 am, and Sundays at 3). I could have told you that.

I've been a fan of TFOP for a couple years. Even named two of my blog categories after the show (is there any higher form of flattery?). The humor is suitable (and funny) for my children and hillarious for me.

Can't wait for the merchandise to start rolling in the stores! -g

My 6-year-old likes TFOP a lot, but I'm rather immune to its charms, and vice versa with Spongebob, which I find hilarious. But that doesn't obscure the fact that Nick has some great cartoons. "The Wild Thornberrys" is wonderful, too.

I watch most of the Nicktoons with my kids, and they don't like the Fairly OddParents. I can't stand it personally, and I love spongebob.

But the Nicktoons factory will labor on, continuing hit after hit after hit after hit.....

Time to send my kids outside!

Nothing will ever replace Spongebob. That's blasphemy.

Fairly Odd Parents is cute. I've been watching it for a while now. The episode where the fairies are subject to the Fairy Trials from the guy who talks like Arnold Schwarznegger is a classic.

What is this "outside" you speak of, quibx?

I don't like it.

Though I love SBSP, what ever happened to The Angry Beavers?

Time Squad is priced to move, yo.

The day they cancelled Invader ZIM was the day Nickelodeon became dead to me.

Invader Zim was significantly better than Fairly Odd Parents, which comes off loud and annoying. Spongebob is still king.

spongebob is wack. half of the shows on CN's Adult Swim block blow it out of the water.

I like TFOP, but i really miss invader Zim. Nick just isn't ready for the older market.

Zim is still showing on Nick, at 9:45pm Fridays and 4:30pm Sundays.
